These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to the two services sold by MAISON LONGEVITY SARL-S for the edition of 21 to 25 April 2027: The Programme and The Stay. The two services are separate. Each is booked under its own agreement and paid separately.
Part A sets out the conditions common to both services. Part B sets out the conditions of The Programme. Part C sets out the conditions of The Stay. By booking a service, you (the guest, “you”) accept Part A and the Part that governs that service.
The Programme and The Stay are sold by MAISON LONGEVITY SARL-S, a société à responsabilité limitée simplifiée with its registered office at 41, rue Goethe, L-1637 Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B311837 (“Maison Longevity”, “we”, “us”). The Programme is a longevity programme for up to ten women, held from 21 to 25 April 2027 in a private villa above Nice (France). Part B describes it.
The Stay is accommodation in that villa for the same four nights. Part C describes it.
Each service has its own price and its own agreement: the Programme Agreement for The Programme, the Accommodation Agreement for The Stay. Each agreement is signed separately. Each service may be booked without the other.
The retreat welcomes up to ten women in all, whether they book The Programme, The Stay or both.
We directly contract and pay the independent professionals and suppliers who contribute to each service; we are not a booking agent for third-party services.
You send a booking request on our website. We then send you the agreement for each service you have requested. You sign it electronically and make any payment due at booking.
When you send your booking request, we set your place aside for seven days so that you can sign the agreement and make any payment due at booking. If they have not reached us within seven days, the place is released and may be offered to another guest.
A booking is confirmed when we have received the signed agreement and any payment due at booking. A booking of The Stay made no later than 5 March 2027 is confirmed when we have received the signed Accommodation Agreement, since no payment is due at booking (Section C3). We send you a confirmation email within forty-eight hours of receiving them. The 14-day period in Section A5 runs from the date of that email.
Bookings remain open until the retreat begins, within the places available.
All prices are in euros and include VAT. The programme and the accommodation are two separate services, each with its own price and its own VAT rate; the breakdown appears on the invoice issued for each payment. The programme fee and the accommodation fee are paid separately. Part B and Part C set out when each is paid.
Payments are made online through our payment provider, Stripe, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Link, or with Klarna or Scalapay. The methods shown at checkout depend on your country, your device and the amount. Klarna and Scalapay may let you pay in instalments or at a later date; they decide whether to offer this, and a purchase paid this way is subject to their own terms. If they do not approve a payment, the booking is not confirmed unless you pay by another means. Maison Longevity receives the full amount at once; any instalments are collected by Klarna or Scalapay.
For any booking made after 5 March 2027, the programme fee and the accommodation fee are paid in full at booking.
Both The Programme and The Stay are supplied on a specific date and for a specific period: 21 to 25 April 2027. Under Article L. 222-9, paragraph (7), point l) of the Luxembourg Consumer Code, which transposes Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to contracts for accommodation or for services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. By placing your booking you acknowledge that this exception applies to both services.
Without prejudice to the above, you may cancel your booking within 14 days of the date of your confirmation email (Section A3) and receive a full refund of every sum paid, including the programme fee. For a booking confirmed no later than 7 March 2027, this period ends no later than 7 March 2027. For a booking confirmed after 7 March 2027, it ends no later than 14 April 2027. This applies to The Programme and to The Stay, each from the confirmation of its own booking. This is a commercial gesture, not a legal right of withdrawal: no such right applies to leisure and accommodation services supplied on a set date.
If the accommodation fee has not been received by 5 March 2027, the accommodation booking is cancelled automatically, without further notice, and the room is released.
After the 14-day period, the cancellation terms in Section B4 (The Programme) and Section C5 (The Stay) apply.
A cancellation must be notified in writing to contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com.
Every refund or compensation due under these Terms is paid within fourteen days, using the means of payment you used, unless you agree otherwise. The fourteen days run from the day we receive your written cancellation; where the edition is cancelled, from the day we tell you so; where a refund depends on your place being resold, from the day the new guest’s payment is received; and, for a shared room, from the day the booking of the friend you invite to take the other place in your room is confirmed.
If, on 7 March 2027, fewer than six participants have paid the programme fee and, if they have booked a room, the accommodation fee, the edition is cancelled. You are told no later than 9 March 2027, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and nothing further is due to you.
If the villa or one of the practitioners becomes unavailable, Maison Longevity first offers you an equivalent replacement, or new dates. A replacement villa is equivalent if it offers at least seven en-suite rooms in the Nice area, of comparable standing; a replacement practitioner is equivalent if they hold the same qualification and cover the same subject. You are always free to refuse: you may then cancel, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and nothing further is due to you.
If no equivalent replacement can be offered and the edition does not take place, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and Maison Longevity also pays you compensation. That compensation is the amount you would have lost had you cancelled on the same day, and it is set in advance as follows: (a) while your 14-day right to a full refund is still running: none, since you would have lost nothing; (b) after those 14 days and no later than 5 March 2027: €2,000 incl. VAT, the amount of the programme fee, if you have booked The Programme; (c) after 5 March 2027: the programme fee (€2,000 incl. VAT), if you have booked The Programme, and the accommodation fee (€2,500 in a shared room or €3,500 in a room of your own, both incl. VAT), if you have booked The Stay.
No compensation is owed where the cause is force majeure (Section A8). In that case the agreement lapses, everything you paid is refunded, and nothing further is due to you.
If Maison Longevity cancels the edition for any other reason, everything you paid is refunded and the same compensation is owed, on the scale above, at the date it tells you.
Every refund is made within fourteen days.
Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its control, which could not reasonably have been foreseen when the booking was made and whose effects cannot be avoided by appropriate measures, such as natural disaster, extreme weather, epidemic or government action, or the failure of a critical supplier where that failure is itself due to such circumstances. If such circumstances prevent us from holding the edition, Section A7 applies.
Workshops, individual sessions, treatments and culinary services during the retreat are delivered by independent, self-employed professionals (including doctors, therapists and the chef) who are not employees of Maison Longevity. Maison Longevity selects and coordinates them with care. Each professional is responsible for their own advice and professional conduct. This does not limit the liability of Maison Longevity towards you for the services it sells to you under these Terms.
A service that you arrange, book and pay directly with a professional or any other third party, such as the in-depth posture review described in Section B1 or a massage, is not sold by Maison Longevity, and Maison Longevity is not a party to it.
We are liable for the proper performance of the services we sell to you, in accordance with the applicable law. We are not liable for a failure attributable to you, to force majeure (Section A8), or to the unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party unconnected with the services we sell. We are not liable for a service you arrange directly with a third party (Section A9), nor for travel you arrange yourself. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable law. We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment and repatriation.
Maison Longevity may photograph or film parts of the retreat for its own marketing and archival purposes. We will seek your consent before and during the stay and will respect any request not to be identifiably included. Where consent is given, such images may be used in our marketing across our website and social media, without further compensation to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing. A separate image-rights authorisation will be provided for signature before arrival.
Personal data you provide is processed to manage your booking and, where you agree, to communicate with you about future editions, in accordance with applicable data protection law (including the GDPR). Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy, at maisonlongevityretreat.com/legal/. The health questionnaire sent before the retreat is optional. It has its own information notice, and it asks for your separate consent.
Any complaint about The Programme or The Stay may be sent in writing to contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com.
If we cannot resolve your complaint together, you may refer it free of charge to the Service national du Médiateur de la consommation in Luxembourg (mediateurconsommation.lu). If you live in another country of the European Union, the European Consumer Centre Luxembourg (cecluxembourg.lu) can help you.
These Terms are governed by Luxembourg law. If you are a consumer resident in another country of the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings against us before the competent courts of Luxembourg or before the courts of the place where you are domiciled. We may bring proceedings against you only before the courts of the place where you are domiciled. In all other cases, the competent courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction.
The Programme runs from Wednesday 21 April to Sunday 25 April 2027. It includes the workshops and masterclasses of the retreat, an individual posture analysis of twenty minutes with the physiotherapist, with personalised recommendations, and an individual skin analysis. It also includes the Pilates, stretching and mobility sessions, the hike along the coast, the sound bath, one lymphatic drainage session on request and subject to availability, brunch from Thursday to Sunday, and your personal set of recommendations, handed to you on the Sunday. The timetable is the one published on our website.
The sets of recommendations are allocated on 18 March 2027 and printed before the retreat. If your booking of The Programme is confirmed after 18 March 2027, your set is ordered by express printing, no later than 9 April 2027. After 9 April 2027, it can no longer be printed in time for the retreat. If your booking of The Programme is confirmed after 9 April 2027, your set of recommendations is sent to you by post after the retreat.
An in-depth posture review is available at extra cost, on request. It is arranged, booked and paid directly between you and the physiotherapist during the stay. Maison Longevity is not involved in it.
The programme fee is €2,000 per person, incl. VAT. It is paid in full at booking.
The Programme includes physical activity, including Pilates, stretching and mobility sessions and a hike along the coast. By booking The Programme, you confirm that you are in a state of health that allows you to participate. The Health Declaration annexed to the Programme Agreement sets out what you declare and what you undertake to tell us.
Nothing provided during the retreat, including any session with a practitioner, is a diagnosis or a treatment, or replaces the advice of your own doctor. You participate in all activities at your own discretion and are free to decline or modify any activity.
Within the 14-day period in Section A5, you may cancel The Programme and receive a full refund of the programme fee.
After that period, if you cancel The Programme, the programme fee is retained. It is refunded only if your place is resold.
The programme fee is also retained if your accommodation booking is cancelled because the accommodation fee was not received by 5 March 2027.
One exception applies. If you have booked a place in a shared room and the friend sharing it with you cancels, you may choose to cancel both The Programme and The Stay. All sums paid, including the programme fee, are then refunded in full.
The Stay is four nights in a private villa above Nice (France), from Wednesday 21 April to Sunday 25 April 2027. It includes your room, dinner each evening from Wednesday to Saturday, prepared by the chef, the welcome kit, and the private transfers between Nice airport and the villa. It also includes housekeeping of the rooms and shared spaces once during the stay, bed linen and towels provided on arrival, a welcome and settling-in on arrival at the villa, and coffee, tea and refreshments every morning. Arrivals and transfers from the airport start at 2.30pm on Wednesday 21 April 2027. Transfers to the airport start at 11am on Sunday 25 April 2027. The exact address of the villa is given in the Accommodation Agreement.
The villa has seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The accommodation fee is €2,500 per person in a shared room, or €3,500 in a private room, both incl. VAT. Rooms are allocated in the order in which booking requests are received. Your room is shown in the summary of the Accommodation Agreement we send you, and is set aside for seven days under Section A3.
The accommodation fee is paid no later than 5 March 2027. You may pay it at any time before that date. For a booking made after 5 March 2027, it is paid in full at booking (Section A4).
If the accommodation fee has not been received by 5 March 2027, the accommodation booking is cancelled automatically, without further notice, and the room is released.
A shared room is booked by two guests who come together, each under her own booking; we do not pair guests who do not know each other. If the friend sharing your room cancels, we will tell you within two working days. You then reply within five working days and choose one of the following: (a) keep the room for yourself and pay the difference between the shared and the private accommodation fee, being €1,000 incl. VAT, which is refunded to you if another friend of yours later books the other place in your room; (b) cancel both The Stay and The Programme and receive a full refund of every sum paid, including the programme fee. If you do not reply within five working days, option (b) applies and every sum paid is refunded in full. We will not change the price of your accommodation without your written agreement.
Within the 14-day period in Section A5, you may cancel The Stay and receive a full refund of the accommodation fee, if you have paid it.
After that period, if you cancel The Stay no later than 5 March 2027, the accommodation fee is refunded if you have paid it. If you have not paid it, it is no longer due.
If you cancel The Stay after 5 March 2027, the accommodation fee is retained. It is refunded only if your place is resold.
If your accommodation booking is cancelled because the accommodation fee was not received by 5 March 2027, nothing else is claimed from you.
