Frequently asked questions

The retreat is €5,500 in a private room, or €4,500 per person in a shared room, incl. VAT, everything included. It is booked as two services, each with its own agreement and its own payment. Your place is held for seven days while you sign and make any payment due at booking. The programme fee, €2,000 per person, incl. VAT, is paid in full at booking. The accommodation fee, €2,500 per person in a shared room, for two women who come together, or €3,500 in a private room, both incl. VAT, is paid no later than 5 March 2027. For a booking made after that date, both fees are paid in full at booking. Payment is online, through Stripe: by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Link. Klarna and Scalapay may also let you pay in instalments, depending on your country and the amount; they decide, and their own terms apply.

You may cancel within 14 days of the confirmation email, which I send within 48 hours of receiving your signed agreement and any payment due at booking: everything you have paid is refunded, programme fee included. To cancel, write to contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com. For a booking confirmed no later than 7 March 2027, these 14 days end no later than 7 March 2027; for a booking confirmed after that date, no later than 14 April 2027. This applies to The Programme and to The Stay, each from the confirmation of its own booking. After those 14 days and no later than 5 March 2027, the programme fee is kept, and refunded only if your place is resold; the accommodation fee is refunded if you have paid it, and is no longer due if you have not. After those 14 days and after 5 March 2027, the programme fee and the accommodation fee are kept, and are refunded only if your place is resold. If the accommodation fee has not been received by 5 March 2027, the accommodation booking is cancelled automatically, without further notice, and the room is released; the programme fee is kept and nothing else is due. One exception: if you share a room and your friend cancels, you may cancel both The Programme and The Stay, and everything you paid is refunded, programme fee included. Every refund is made within fourteen days. This is a commercial gesture, not a legal right of withdrawal: no such right applies to leisure and accommodation services supplied on a set date. If, on 7 March 2027, fewer than six participants have paid the programme fee and, if they have booked a room, the accommodation fee, the edition is cancelled. You are told no later than 9 March 2027, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and nothing further is due to you.

If the villa or one of the practitioners becomes unavailable, Maison Longevity first offers you an equivalent replacement, or new dates. A replacement villa is equivalent if it offers at least seven en-suite rooms in the Nice area, of comparable standing; a replacement practitioner is equivalent if they hold the same qualification and cover the same subject. You are always free to refuse: you may then cancel, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and nothing further is due to you.

If no equivalent replacement can be offered and the edition does not take place, everything you paid is refunded, the programme fee included, and Maison Longevity also pays you compensation. That compensation is the amount you would have lost had you cancelled on the same day, and it is set in advance as follows: (a) while your 14-day right to a full refund is still running: none, since you would have lost nothing; (b) after those 14 days and no later than 5 March 2027: €2,000 incl. VAT, the amount of the programme fee, if you have booked The Programme; (c) after 5 March 2027: the programme fee (€2,000 incl. VAT), if you have booked The Programme, and the accommodation fee (€2,500 in a shared room or €3,500 in a room of your own, both incl. VAT), if you have booked The Stay.

No compensation is owed where the cause is force majeure (Section A8). In that case the agreement lapses, everything you paid is refunded, and nothing further is due to you.

If Maison Longevity cancels the edition for any other reason, everything you paid is refunded and the same compensation is owed, on the scale above, at the date it tells you.

Every refund is made within fourteen days.

Four nights and five days, from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 April 2027. Arrivals start at 2.30pm on the Wednesday, and transfers to Nice airport leave from 11am on the Sunday. If you are new to the format, read what a longevity retreat actually is.

Up to ten women, at a similar stage of life. The group never exceeds ten, so the experience stays intimate.

Yes, at the time of booking. A shared room is for two women who come together: name your friend on the booking form; each of you books under her own name, and you share the same room.

Seven en-suite rooms: four with a king bed, two with a queen bed, and one with two single beds. Each room is taken by one woman, or shared by two friends who come together, up to ten women in all. You tell us your preference when you book, and rooms are allocated in the order booking requests are received.

If the friend sharing your room cancels, I tell you within two working days. You then have five working days to choose: keep the room for yourself and pay €1,000 more, incl. VAT, refunded to you if another friend of yours books the other place afterwards; or cancel both The Stay and The Programme, with everything refunded, programme fee included. If you do not reply within five working days, the second option applies and everything is refunded.

Yes. The private chef designs each menu around the group, and easily accommodates allergies, intolerances and preferences. Allergies and intolerances go in the health questionnaire or in the short practical form sent before the retreat, or to the chef in person when you arrive, never by email. Any other preference, such as a vegetarian diet, simply tell me.

Included in the programme: an individual posture analysis of twenty minutes with the physiotherapist, with personalised recommendations, and one lymphatic drainage session, on request and subject to availability. As an extra, an in-depth posture review is available on request. It is arranged, booked and paid directly between you and the physiotherapist during the stay. Maison Longevity is not involved in this service.

Pieces from the houses we work with: Valmont skincare; Therascience supplements (omega, magnesium and a probiotic); Svelteo drainage supplements; Free Soul protein sachets; SALTE electrolytes; a Fragonard scent kit; Beauté en Soie silk pieces, made in France; Manifesto Nutrition gummies; Cosmic Dealer chocolate; and a small oil from Le Barretian. You also receive the journal you write in during the stay.

The doctors of the retreat lead dedicated sessions on set days of your stay: Dr Kestemont and Dr Badiou a joint workshop on Thursday afternoon, and Dr Garcia a micronutrition workshop on Saturday afternoon. They are not present throughout. This complements the care of your own physician and does not replace it. Relevant health information is collected later, through a single, optional, encrypted questionnaire sent before the retreat, which asks for your consent separately.

None in particular. In the Health Declaration you sign with the Programme Agreement, you undertake to make known any physical limitation, in the health questionnaire or in person when you arrive. The physiotherapist adapts every session to you.

No. I recommend guests take out their own travel insurance, covering cancellation, curtailment and repatriation.

Yes. Private transfers to and from Nice airport are included with the accommodation. Travel to Nice (France) itself is not.
