Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Léa Bidani, acting in her personal capacity on behalf of Maison Longevity (SARL-S, Luxembourg, currently in the process of incorporation), collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Léa Bidani is currently the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, pending the incorporation of Maison Longevity. Once incorporated, Maison Longevity SARL-S will become the data controller, and this policy will be updated accordingly. For any question, contact us at contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com.

2. What data we collect

Waitlist and contact data. When you complete our waitlist form, we collect your first and last name, your email address, the country you are writing from, your preferred room arrangement, the pillar or pillars of the programme that interest you, your preferred language for our exchanges, and whether you would like us to arrange an introductory call. Every field other than your name and email address is optional.

Booking data. Once bookings open, and once you make a reservation, we will collect the additional information necessary to arrange your stay, including any health or dietary information you choose to disclose, and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your card details).

Website usage data. We run no audience measurement, no analytics and no advertising tracking on this website.

3. Why we use your data

To manage the waitlist and respond to your enquiries. To communicate with you about upcoming editions, where you have agreed to this. To manage your booking and prepare your stay, once bookings open and you become a guest. To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent for marketing communications and for joining the waitlist, on pre-contractual steps taken at your request and then on the performance of a contract for booking-related data, and on our legal obligations for accounting and tax records. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share relevant information, limited to what is necessary, with the independent practitioners and suppliers involved in your stay (such as our physicians, chef or therapists), and with service providers who help us operate, such as our booking, payment and email platforms. Our form platform is Jotform Inc. (United States), configured to store form data in its European data centre. Transfers are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by a data processing agreement. These parties are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.

6. How long we keep your data

Waitlist and contact data: three years from our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Booking data: ten years, to meet Luxembourg accounting obligations. Any health or dietary information you share for a stay: deleted within thirty days of the end of that stay. You may ask us to delete your data at any time, as described below.

7. Where your data is stored

Our form platform, Jotform Inc., and our website host, Netlify, Inc., are established in the United States, Jotform being configured to store form data in its European data centre; transfers to them are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses. We transfer no data outside these providers.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain uses of it, and to request that it be transferred to you or to another organisation. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD, cnpd.public.lu), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

This website places no cookie of its own. We run no analytics, no audience measurement and no advertising tracking, and there is therefore no consent banner.

One page, Request your place, offers a form hosted by Jotform Inc. That form is not loaded when the page opens. It appears only after you click “Load the form”. Until you click, nothing whatsoever is sent to Jotform.

Once you click, your browser connects to Jotform’s servers, which receive your IP address, your browser and device details, the address of the page you are on and the page you came from. Jotform may then place cookies and local storage entries on your device. These are necessary to display the form, keep your session and prevent spam; they are not used to advertise to you or to follow you across other websites.

If you would rather not load the form at all, write to contact@maisonlongevityretreat.com and we will take your request by email.

Should we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent before any such cookie is placed, and this policy will be updated first.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, notably once Maison Longevity is incorporated and becomes the data controller. The version published on this page is always the current one.
